If you are new to holistic treatments, you may be pleasantly surprised by the experience. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine may differ from what you’re used to, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have during your first visit.
Our Treatment Protocol
1. Initial Visit:
During the first visit, our primary focus is to address the symptoms that you are experiencing. We aim to assess the effectiveness of acupuncture in alleviating your symptoms. Results vary based on your medical history and current health condition. While some patients experience relief quickly, others may find that their symptoms improve gradually, or they may return over time.
2. Follow-up Visit:
Based on your progress, we will create a treatment plan that suits your ongoing needs. For those with chronic conditions or partial symptom relief from the initial session, we may apply additional holistic approaches to enhance the overall healing process. A full consultation will be provided if necessary.
What to Expect During Your Consultation
At Sage Wellness Center, we believe in providing comprehensive care and educating our clients about their health. During your consultation, we will:
- Answer any questions you have about acupuncture and Oriental/Chinese medicine
- Discuss your symptoms and health concerns
- Perform a Traditional Chinese Medicine health intake
- Conduct a Pulse and Tongue Examination
- Provide a preliminary Chinese Medicine diagnosis
- Develop an effective treatment strategy tailored to your needs
We also offer Tension Point Therapy (Manual Therapy) as needed to complement your acupuncture treatments.
